Burjesta Theatre Panto Workshop – The Lazzi
Wednesday 16th August, 7pm @ The Casa, Hope St, Liverpool
This week’s workshop is the last of three workshops dedicated to the origins and influences on pantomime. We will be looking at the ‘Lazzi’ which is a stock joke or routine in the repertoire of commedia dell’arte (the Italian form of improvisational drama from the 16th century).
All are welcome beginner or experienced.
Please note these workshops lead into our Xmas Panto production of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ which we’ll start to look at in the workshop in September.
