we continue are look at the origins and influences on pantomime with a workshop dedicated to ‘commedia dell’arte’.
Commedia was an Italian form of performance, with ‘improvised’ scripts and gags put together for a given performance involving great skill from the performers. It has greatly influenced Western theatre with Shakespeare and Moliere to name but two incorporating elements of it into their drama.
These workshops will lead into a Xmas production of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. All our welcome from total beginner to experienced actor.
