Women in European Theatre – focus on France and Italy
WEA Course on Theatre starting this Tuesday 19th January @ The Casa on Hope St, Liverpool, run by Mikyla Durkan of Burjesta Theatre
Focusing on Women’s Theatre, the course will provide an overview of women in theatre from a practical, practitioner’s perspective. Exploring differing styles and contents and incorporating themes relevant to the group. The workshops will look at the selected works of French stage director and founder of ‘Theatre du Soleil’ Ariane Mnouchkine and Franca Rame- Italian actress, playwright and activist. Optional – This course could culminate in a devised performance piece.
