‘Around the Theatre World in 80 Days’ – Scandinavian Realism/Surrealism, Myth and Drama

We’ll be looking at the Ynglinga Norse Saga from the 13th century and Henrik Ibsen’s ‘A Doll’s House’ from the 19th century. We want to explore the relationship between naturalism and non-naturalist ways of storytelling.
