BURJESTA WORKSHOP DETAILS FOR THIS WEDNESDAY, 27th – JOHN MCGRATH

As part of our ‘Storytelling for Actors’ series of workshops, this Wednesday’s workshop will be dedicated to the work of Birkenhead-born, John McGrath, ground-breaking practitioner of 7:84 Theatre Company (7% of the population possess 84% of the country’s wealth) and will be based on ideas from his seminal book ‘A Good Night Out’ which looked a popular theatre for the masses, using, drama, humour, dancing, music and song to attain this end.

We’ll be performing a ceilidh (Irish dance) in the workshop among other activities!

Please note also that Michelle Potts from Liverpool-based Harmony Casting, who supply TV and film companies with actors, will be attending the workshop with a view to potentially adding actors to her books, though there is no guarantee of specific work from this.

Workshop is at normal time and place, The Casa, Hope Street, Liverpool, L1 9BQ, 7pm and costs £2.
