Burjesta Theatre Workshop – Ensemble Acting & Chekhov – Wed 15th June

We’ll be looking at Chekhov’s first full length play, Ivanov, set at the turn of the 20th century in Russia amidst the land-owners and bourgeoisie class in a condition of moral torpor. Chekhov’s writing allows for up to a dozen actors to work on a scene together, all done with great skill, something of a rarity with active members in a scene usually no more than three or four.

All welcome, beginner or experienced.

Regards
Burjesta

Tom Hiddleston (Lvov), Johnathan Battersby (Gavrila), Andrea Riseborough (Sasha), Kenneth Branagh (Ivanov), Gina McKee (Anna Petrovna), Kevin R McNally (Lebedev), Lorcan Cranitch (Borkin) and Sylvestra Le Touzel (Zinaida) during the curtain call on Press Night for Ivanov at Wyndham's Theatre, London, England on 17th September 2008.
